Not terribly useful in this incarnation.

As mentioned by others - the focus doesn't work unless you have *very* young eyes - no, no matter how far out you put the prism. I should know, I work for an optometrists =P.

You'd need some custom lens focus in front of the assembly to make this work but that would be a whole other setup. Currently, unfortunately this is a waste of time & money.

Nice idea, but unfortunately waste of money

As setup, the prism can not be focused while wearing, as it is not mounted for long focal point but instead unusable direct focus at prism position. The product is a failure and I am considering asking for the money back.

EDIT after answer :
I do not know for whom you have intended this product, but most of the people can not focus that close (and even if they can switching focus and small size of prism make it unusable)
You have sold and unusable and frankly defective product.
You should have maybe read up a bit more on optic and simulating infinite focus before scamming us.

Hi Sir,

Thanks for the feedback, this version of focusing requires the prism to be pushed farther away from the eye, you can try pushing the prism as far as it will go.

Great idea, but unfortunately currently unusable

The idea and pricetag of the T-Glass is perfect. Unfortunately the prism is not mounted correctly, resulting in basically unusable focus level. If you turn it around, the focus is better, but the zoom level and brightness is even worse.

I did not expect an incredible brightness, but the biggest probblem is the focus. You basically have to focus directly onto the prism. In that case i could have just put a transparent display directly at tthe same place.

Until now there is no official reply from lillygo on github adressing this problem.

What would be needed?
- Focal point much further in the distance, ideally adjustable by the user.
- correctly mounted prism.
- ideally: brighter oled.

Prism not functional

The electronics Hardware itself works (ESP, Display...) but the Optics part is a complete Failure. The Prism does not work as expected (something similar to google glass). Sorry but seems like a failed product :/
