nice product but documentation has to be improved
The T-Display-S3 is a great choice for developers and experimenters, integrating the ESP32-S3 chip directly with a very nice display, along with many other functions. The performance is great and works very well with the Arduino IDE. It's now my first choice when breadboarding new design ideas to tryout.
Loving my T-Display boards, I now have one of each of them, a T-Display, a Touch version and a T-Embed rotary encoder version. Some tweaking is needed to get the most out of them with regards to currently available libraries such as TFT_eSPI etc, but once these initial issues were fathomed out the boards perform excellently. I will most certainly be buying more in the future. My current project with the T-Embed board is to interface this via WiFi to my SunSDR2DX Transceiver which uses its own protocol (called TCI) to communicate its controls over a network. With my T-Embed device I am able to connect to my network via WiFi and control the transceiver directly. Very happy with the products.
The combination of the ESP32-S3 and the integrated display are a great combo for lots of projects. I use ESP-IDF and LVGL and it works great.
An outstanding price in a protective plastic box. The T-Display-S3 is an awesome ESP32 module with a builtin color display. It can be used in your Bluetooth and WiFi projects with just about unlimited possibilities.
