Excellent device used on Amateur radio for LORAAPRS. Used the powerful firmware by Richon Guzman...

As an amateur radio operto this unit is far superior to previous models which I've tried on as a mobile tracker.
I purchased the unit with the improved optional GOS module; GPS is fast and very sensitive.
The weather module works very well.
I used the powerful firmware developed by Richon Guzman, which I recommend for fellow Hams.
I use it everyday as a APRS tracker on my vehicle

Arrived DOA

First one worked after flashing perfectly. 2nd one had issues. The lilygo team sent the instruction and links to flash the esp software so the board will recognize the screen. I haven't been able to get it to work.

A good improvement over the T-beam

Much better GPS than the standard T-beam and I think the radio performance is better as well. Mine is used with Softrf and my only problem is that the Moshe Branner version of Softrf isn't available for this version of the T-beam.

Broken after a couple of weeks

Battery doesn’t work after a few weeks. Probably a broken charge controller. It also consumes a lot of power on battery. The Lora module is quiet strong though and the GPS is nice to have for my application.
